EMILY LANGRIDGE is an Australian musical theatre actress and singer, originally from Brisbane, Queensland.
Emily is currently touring internationally in the principal cast of Cameron Mackintosh’s acclaimed new production of Les Miserables, playing the role of Cosette, which she also played throughout Australia from 2014 to January 2016. During her time travelling across Australia with Les Miserables, Emily performed in several charity concerts, including singing material from Phantom of the Opera at the benefit concert Beyond Miserables at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney, with all proceeds going to Beyond Blue. She was featured on national television several times, performing at the Helpmann Awards, Carols by Candlelight, in a foxtel arts special Les Miserables Australia Behind the Scenes, and on the Today Show.
In early 2014 Emily was involved in several concerts and co-ops of Australian composer’s works, including playing the role of Chora in Matthew Robinson’s Atlantis: in Concert. Just after graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) with a Bachelor of Music Theatre, in 2013 Emily was cast in Gypsy with the Production Company, then Pirates of Penzance, also with the Production Company.
